Our goal was to create an experience with a compelling narrative and delightful gameplay to both bring attention to the grand opening of the Teddy Roosevelt Presidential Library (TRPL) and encourage conservatorship amongst the youth. The challenge was to make this app both fun and educational while upholding the mission and values of the TRPL organization.

PROJECT BACKGROUND
At the direction of Walmart’s Innovation Team, the task was to concept and prototype a “metaverse” experience which bridges the gap between gamified apps and e-commerce. Reacting to the popularity of Niantic’s Pokémon GO, Walmart stakeholders were interested in how augmented reality, particularly geofencing and semantic recognition, can play a role in creating a delightful experience for customers to participate, compete and earn rewards, and keep coming back for more.
